I will install the previous version (Windows 2000 Pro, not XP because it is OEM and it must be bundled with my machine when I sell it on eBay). releases their new (native) version for the Mac - then I remove Windows and Bootcamp - immediately. I think the concern for the consumer is the machine needed to run Vista. One thing I do like that may help with that to a degree is the different packages of Vista, 5 packages vs the 2 of the orignal XP. Makes me think this will be easier than I thought.
